SAVE THE PITBULLS!!!!

I can't imagine this. At first I thought it was fake but then I went to Google and typed in "save the pit bulls" and I got a link to an online petition from ONTARIO, CANADA because the same thing is happening to the people there.

HOW CAN THEY DO THIS?

What is wrong with people? We shouldn't be able to take someone's pet away and kill them just because of their breed. In Denver they give jail time or $900 fines to the people who try to keep their bulls from the police. Don't they understand? To a lot of these people, taking their dog away is equivalent to taking their child away! I remember in Miami pitbulls were no longer legal, but that was because of the spread of illegal dog fights happening in the area. The police force in Denver, CO is taking dogs away because of a judge's ruling that was made back in the 90's because ONE child (unattended by his parents, who were watching TV) snuck into someone's backyard, approached a CHAINED UP DOG, and got attacked. There was nothing ILLEGAL going on there! AND NOW THEY'RE KILLING ALL OF THE BULLS- VIOLENT HISTORY OR NO.

I know if this were happening to me and any of MY pets, I would be put in jail for life for the things I would do to those police officers.

Something needs to be done. This shouldn't be allowed. It's up there with racism on my scale of BAD THINGS.

As soon as I find people on the internet willing to do something to stop this, I'll post a link.
