Yeah that's me. Like the well awaited, overly dramatized return of the new BRILLIANT Harry Potter book (finished in 2 1/2 days! was sobbing the whole time on the last one!), I have returned with a bang. I apologize for the long wait- as well as for the bad, botchy photoshop- but when one lives in Hollywood one tends to get quite busy.

This photo is a sad attempt at making one of a new series of photos the members of the Filmmaker House are trying to provide... A new 'Think Different' poster campaign. You guys ever seen the Apple (Mac, to you windows people) posters where some legendary person is doing something and on the corner is the phrase 'Think Different?' If you haven't go to Google, click the image search, and type in Think Different and you'll see. That's what we're doing here at the house. Each one of us is going to do some pose and we'll blow it up in a poster that says Think Different on the side. 6 posters in all, to be premiered (where else?) on Andy and my websites.

Stuff:
-HALF BLOOD PRINCE IS AMAZING. Aside from Goblet, which is tied as my favorite with this one, this is the BEST BOOK IN THE SERIES! You should read it. Me, Andy, Daniel Samonas, and Jake went to the opening night party at Barnes and Nobles. It was fun (and cold!)

-CONGRATS MR. BEAM!!!! He's music is now featured on world-wide M&M's commercials. Sweet. It's really weird, though, turning on the tv and hearing the voice that I used to associate with arri lights and 16mm cameras singing to me from behind the bright yellow M&M mascot. Trippy.

-HI SHAYLA!!!! Shayla gave me a call this morning (out of the blue, and- may I say- not too observant of the time difference between NY and LA :) and we had a good talk. I miss her. And Walker. And all the crazy people that made the first 3 semesters of college so great. Anyway, she's starting a blog (or is supposed to) so when she gets hers up I'll give you a link!

-HI URBAN!!!! Urban came by yesterday, bearing presents of slime (the thing he makes at work). I have never used a present so much in my life. :) Like Shayla, it was nice seeing him. Reminded me of the great times I had after Shayla and Walker moved out. Here's to friends... and while I'm at it HI CHRIS! & HI DOMINIC!- You are just as imortant as Shayla and Urban and you deserve your own paragraph but I don't think my readers will find it aesthetically pleasing (lame, I know).

-Last, but SO not least: HI TAYLOR!!!! Hazel's new baby girl is constantly trying to fight her way into this world, and I have no doubt that she will do it before the end of the week. I'll be there to greet her- I'm set to fly home soon for the momentous occasion.

See this girl? This is Jessica Alba. Some of you might know her as the chick from 'SinCity' or 'Fantastic Four,' but the oldschool fans will know her from a little tv show called 'Flipper' from back in the early 90's. I was a huge fan. HUGE. Imagine my surprise and glee when I- I who currently am TRYING to do Taebo everyday in an effort to KINDA fit in in LA- read in a newspaper that this same Jessica Alba that I obsessed with when I was young does Taebo as well!

Well... whether my new form of motivation may not be the visual way I end up in a couple months, I hope to at least gain the confidence that she has (as we can see in this picture of her half-naked.)

Please, all of you, prey for me.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!!!!!

Big 22. Nice. There are actual fireworks being set off in my neighborhood at this moment. You can say that they aren't for me, they're really for some random 3rd-world holiday that the neighbors are celebrating; you can also mention the fact that at least 3 fireworks have gone off every night since we've moved into this neighborhood and it's probably the same overzealous neighbors continuing their quest for daily, sparkly happy-dom; OR you can say that the city of LA thought it would be nice to celebrate my day of birth and commemorate my moving here with a show of their appreciation.

Yes. You could say that.

But- before I delve to deeply in the subject of my own popularity- I gotta go. My sweet Filmmaker House occupants have decided to celebrate in their own way and I must follow! See ya later!

Also- Thank you My Family and Bran! Love is the look that I get on my face when I think of you.

This is my drive every morning now. I work in Malibu. Sweet! Except for the fact that it takes over 2 hours to get there (but I guess with my extensive collection of MP3's I DID NOT STEAL THEM I DID NOT STEAL THEM I DID NOT STEAL THEM it stays interesting). :)

Surprise Andy! You have de-throned Peter Bean by getting more hits on my site than he! One more hit, to be exact.... now, don't go flipping sideways in happiness. That won't be necessary. Just thank all of your fans out there. :)

Pete- you got anything to say?

Seeing Stars and Staying Silent

I have found an amazing perk working for E! Entertainment: famous people flock. Actually, work. As in work there. Today I walked into the elevator after a normal run to the mail room and who stood before me but the Man who is Morpheus- Lawrence Fishburne!

He was standing hunched quietly in the corner, hands in his pockets, head down. I was so shocked that I stopped in the doorway for a millisecond, starring at him. Then, quietly, I turned around, pressed 4 on the button panel, and acted like everything was normal for an excrutiatingly quiet four floors.

Idiot me!

The day before I was coming back from lunch break and walked INTO a man in very ragged clothes and a dirty hat talking quickly and quietly to another man in a very impressive suit. This is the face I saw:

before I turned and convinced myself that I had been seeing things. Peter later told me that many talent managers and agents shared offices with E! Entertainment and lots of famous actors came here to see them. Again- stupid me!

A week before that I was downstairs in the food shop buying a smoothy when this woman comes up behind me:

Bim- you know her. Remember the show 'How Do I Look?' Anyway, she was looking down at her toddler son (who was frowning) and saying "You're whining! You're whining at my work!" There was a nice little pretty lady beside her- probably an assistant- who looked thoroughly uncomfortable.

And what did I do that I've done each and every time? What were my actions- keeping in mind that my trusty camera was with me at each sighting?

I WUSSED OUT. I STAYED QUIET. I RAN AWAY.

stupid me.

There is one person who has been avoiding me, though, and I know he is at the E! building everyday because Peter delivers mail to him PERSONALLY. It's the host of the E! show The Soup, Joel McHale. This hilarious, brilliant comedian seems to be everywhere I am not, spotted by everyone but me. All I get to see of him to know he is real is the paycheck stubs I have to file everyday for his wages.

:p It's probably better this way. I wouldn't want to make a fool of myself again and not say anything.

Congratulations Andy! We at the Filmmaker House salute those who work hard for a living- as you may notice by the pictures below. Our beloved roommate Andy got a call today notifying him that he has been picked as Valedictorian for our graduating class at Miami International University. He is the first valedictorian to ever come out of the Film program at MIU. As a sign of appreciation, Peter, Darryl, and I surprised him by pouring champagne and whip cream on him when he got home.

CONGRATS!!!
